PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Visual recordings are obtained and monitored through security cameras located at the entrance, exit, and interior of the Basilica Cistern Museum for the purposes of ensuring physical space security and conducting occupational health and safety activities.

METHOD AND LEGAL BASIS OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION

The personal data in question is processed by automatic means based on the legal grounds set forth in Article 5 of the KVKK, namely: "it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject" and "it is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject."

RECIPIENTS AND PURPOSES OF TRANSFERRING PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

The personal data in question may be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement agencies upon request to resolve legal disputes or as required by applicable legislation.

OTHER RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT ENUMERATED UNDER ARTICLE 11 OF THE KVKK

You may submit your requests within the scope of your rights specified under Article 11 of the KVKK in accordance with the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for the Request to Data Controller, using the contact information provided in the "IDENTITY OF THE DATA CONTROLLER" section of this Clarification Text.

If your application is made in writing, you may deliver it in person or send it via a notary public. Alternatively, you may transmit your application via secure electronic signature, mobile signature, your email address previously registered in our system, or our Registered Electronic Mail (KEP) address. For your application, you may also use the Data Subject Application Form prepared by us pursuant to Article 13 of the KVKK and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for the Request to Data Controller.
