This Preliminary Information Form has been prepared in accordance with the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers and the Regulation on Distance Contracts and is intended to inform the Buyer before completing the order electronically.
Before confirming the order, the Buyer acknowledges that he/she has read and understood this Preliminary Information Form, the Distance Sales Agreement, the User Agreement, the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Notice, the Cookie Policy, and the visitor rules available on the website.
ARTICLE 2 – ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PRICE OF THE PURCHASED SERVICE
The purchased service consists of an electronic admission ticket enabling the Buyer to visit the Basilica Cistern on the date and/or at the time selected by the Buyer.

The electronic ticket shall be sent to the e-mail address provided by the Buyer or made available through the user account upon successful completion of the payment.
ARTICLE 3 – METHOD OF PERFORMANCE
The purchased service shall be performed by delivering the electronic ticket.
The electronic ticket shall only be valid for the date, time, number of visitors, and ticket type specified thereon.
At the entrance, the QR code, barcode or any other verification method determined by the Seller shall be used.
ARTICLE 4 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, CANCELLATION AND REFUND
The purchased service is a Basilica Cistern visitor service to be performed on a specific date or within a specific period. Accordingly, pursuant to Article 15/1(g) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, as it constitutes a service relating to leisure activities to be performed on a specific date or within a specific period, the Buyer shall not have the right of withdrawal.
Purchased tickets may not, as a rule, be cancelled, exchanged or refunded. However, if the visit cannot be carried out due to reasons attributable to the Seller, security concerns, decisions of public authorities, force majeure events, technical failures, maintenance or restoration works, the Buyer may request either a refund of the ticket price or, where available, a new visit date.
ARTICLE 5 – DELIVERY AND TERMS OF USE
The electronic ticket may only be used by the person specified at the time of purchase.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel tickets determined to be counterfeit, duplicated, altered or obtained through unauthorized means.
Visitors purchasing discounted tickets shall be obliged to present the relevant supporting documents at the entrance.

ARTICLE 7 – DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any disputes arising out of this Preliminary Information Form and the Distance Sales Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
Pursuant to Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers, Consumer Arbitration Committees at the place where the Buyer or the Seller is domiciled shall have jurisdiction over disputes falling within the applicable monetary thresholds, while Consumer Courts shall have jurisdiction over disputes exceeding such thresholds.
For consumer disputes subject to mandatory mediation as a pre-condition to litigation, the relevant legislative provisions shall apply.
ARTICLE 19 – EFFECTIVENESS
19.1. Before confirming the order, the Buyer acknowledges that he/she has read this Preliminary Information Form in its entirety and has been clearly informed about the essential characteristics of the service, the total purchase price, the payment terms, the conditions governing the use of the electronic ticket, and, in particular, the fact that no right of withdrawal is available.
